A short-form documentary exploring the intersection of tradition and modernity in rural Rajasthan's emerging motorsport culture. Over three weeks embedded with local communities, we captured the raw, unfiltered energy of grassroots racing — improvised dirt circuits carved into desert landscapes, engines rebuilt from salvaged parts, and the unwavering determination of drivers competing for honor as much as prize money.
The editing approach was deliberately restrained — long takes, natural sound, and minimal score — allowing the landscape and its people to speak for themselves. The piece premiered at Sundance Shorts and was subsequently acquired by National Geographic for their 'Short Film Showcase' platform, reaching over 2 million views in its first month.
